30 , January, 1959.( Palanpur, North Gujarat ).......( A Town Known for Diamonds Business )
( Age 56 yrs, two months, as on March ,2015 )

From 8 th std to SSC, I had OPTED for TECHNICAL SUBJECTS
at a nearby Technical high school .
So from a very young age ,I learnt

( 2 ) Hot Metal Forging. ( I have Hammered RED Hot Iron into various shapes )
( 3 ) Electrical Wiring.
( 4 ) Carpentry.
( 5 ) Lathe Machine Operating.
( 6 ) Engineering Materials Study...etc,etc.
I thoroughly ENJOYED all SUBJECTS and EXCELLED specially in Engineering Drawing plans, Elevations, etc.
In One EXAM, I was the ONLY student who had RIGHTLY DRAWN the 3 -D OBJECT from the plans & Elevations.
The Teacher immediately separated me to a FAR-OFF empty SEAT, so that NOBODY could COPY from ME.
It's a thrill remembering those days.
I STOOD FIRST in the ENTIRE CLASS in S.S.C

( Making Poly -Urethane Foam insulation & False Ceiling Material
and taking up some INSULATION & FALSE CEILING contracts).
I worked very hard ,BUT the atmosphere was not conducive to my thinking.
I learnt a LOT about POLY-URETHANE FOAM.
I learnt the use of FOAM in ACOUSTICS.
This is the first time I paid MORE ATTENTION to the word " ACOUSTICS "
A SUBCONSCIOUS LEARNING OF " ACOUSTICS" had BEGUN .

I used to prepare quotations for insulation, interior & acoustic contracts
also attended TENDER OPENINGS,site visits to learn, & outstation
touring.

BEFORE starting, for months, I used to Imagine how exactly I will RUN
this ONE MAN SHOW.
NOBODY can IMAGINE the FUN I DERIVED from executing the turnkey
contracts.

SERVICE to all my clients , and TECHNICALLY a STRONG WORK by REGULAR SITE VISITS.

I kept on observing and thinking just out of CURIOSITY...........
No detailed knowledge was available from anywhere............
Then,In the year 1991 I did first sound proofing of two cabins for a client.........
This experience set my mind thinking about all possible ways to do it...........
Immediately after this followed the execution of heat insulation of a SEMINAR HALL for, Lloyd's STEEL, Wardha...........
I got exposure to design of its acoustics,so this added to my knowledge.............
Then,searching for a source of knowledge ,When Ever I used to get time I used to visit AMERICAN & BRITISH LIBRARIES..........
I could locate good books on acoustics.I brought them home and started reading the FUNDAMENTALS OF ACOUSTICS.
Whatever time I got from my business I used to spend in reading................
The more I read the more CURIOSITY got generated.............
I read & I tried to UNDERSTAND, & Imagine what's happening in the AIR...............
It was like READING a MURDER MYSTERY................., and that too spread out in so many books...........,with NO CLEAR CONCLUSIONS in ANY BOOK..........
Each Writer had his OWN OUTLOOK.............
Around this time I laid my hands on a SET of
THE GREAT AMERICAN YELLOW
A DOZEN.......... ,each 4 inch thick BOOKS.
There were pages & pages full of ACOUSTICS RELATED SERVICES & PRODUCTS & TESTING LABORATORIES & TESTING INSTRUMENTS.
in the great " UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ".
This info really BLEW my MIND.
I wrote a SPECIAL PRINTED LETTER to ALL THOSE hundreds of COMPANIES.I
I really spent a small fortune on printing & Air-Mail Postage to U.S.A and Other Countries.
AND
the MIRACLE started to unfold.............It was a BOOM time in USA..
Against my one page enquiry letter I started getting LOADS & LOADS of.............
ACOUSTICAL RELATED CATALOGS...............
My cupboard started OVER-FLOWING................
I planned out a RENOVATION to CATEGORISE those things.
( In General, I was as such planning to become an 'INTERIOR DESIGNER ")
I renovated my bedroom & Drawing room with MAXIMUM POSSIBLE drawers, & sections to classify and store everything in proper order.
I declared myself as an " ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT ", along with my existing business of hot and cold insulation contracts.
I designed a basic sound proof door and windows design and got free publicity and write-up in some of those famous interior decor magazines.
The study of those catalogs from USA also continued............
My Imagination & thinking on the subject also continued...........
In fact , all my spare time was devoted to reading those ACOUSTICAL CATALOGS..............
when I was in my happiest state of mind.............,
each day was a thrill.....,planning to make more PROGRESS in my BUSINESS.........
Planning to BUY a CAR,in place of my existing two wheeler.............
I got a HEART ATTACK ..............( 21, December,peaceful , quiet, sunday evening ,1998 ).
Now, it was a question of saving my OWN LIFE
All this I am writing just to inform you about my nature of investigating a subject.
This Terrific Research on HEART ATTACK which finally culminated in my writing and selling of a UNIQUE BOOK on ATTACK PREVENTION,

I continued executing contracts and consultancies even just a month after my attack......
till around 9/11 happened
The slackness in the market affected me. Even if I quoted a LOWEST POSSIBLE price I could not get a contract.this continued for nearly two years.
I decided to STOP contracts & continue with
ONLY ACOUSTIC CONSULTANCY.
This was around year end of 2004.
In absence of much publicity I got very less works but my study continued.
Now , AUDITORIUMS have became my PASSION.
I tried to know as much as possible.
HERE is a THINKING POINT :-
( 1 ) Sound is NOT POSSIBLE in VACUUM.
( 2 ) Sound is possible ONLY in a MATTER.It could be AIR, OR any other
Matter.
( 3 ) Now " AIR " is made up of
78 % Nitrogen
+
21 % Oxygen
+
01 % Argon & other gases ( 0.9 % Argon )

= 100 % AIR.
( 4 ) Sound is an " ATOMIC WAVE ".
The vibration is atomic.
Further , when you realise that
THICKNESS OF A HUMAN HAIR CONTAINS = 10,00,000 atoms.(Ten Lakhs )
Even just " ONE " Millimeter .= 40,00,000 atoms ( Fourty Lakhs ).
( 5 ) So when you can imagine these dimensions you start understanding the " UNUSUAL " behaviour of sound.

( 7 ) The GEOMETRY of NITROGEN atoms ( MOLECULES ) which is the majority in the air & its " INTER-ACTION " with the atoms of ALL OTHER MATTERS
is the REAL TRUTH OF the SOUND BEHAVIOUR.
There are a lot of wrong statements made regarding sound behaviour BUT since there is NOBODY to really explain the behaviour, the myths continue.
When SOLUTION is available,
the PROBLEM should stop existing.
